Don’t Drink The Kool Aid

I am an open minded, card carrying Democrat. Some of my closest friends are gay and I would not want to see them disrespected, gay or not. I also have no problem with religious differences. If you wanna bow your head and pray to satan than that’s your business a long as you don’t involve me. I have always considered myself liberal but the Democratic Party I signed up with at 18 is not the same. I look at them now and wonder what the hell they are doing. Everybody seems to have drunk the Obama Kool Aid. Due to his charisma, a lot of his followers are so devoted to him no matter what but I can see him for what he is and always could. I just don’t get it. I have seem disturbing images of people singing praises to him and crying as if he were the Messiah. The media fawns over him like he is the second coming which he most definitely is not. I have never liked to stick my nose into politics because I figure the powers that be could handle things but that obviously is not the case. Why would anyone in their right mind vote for him after the last 4 years? He is not incompetent by any means though he may seem so on the outside. I think he is doing exactly what he set out to do, dismantle America and make it a socialist society. He wants us dependent on the government. There are countless unemployed and on food stamps. Those are good things to have as for a short period of time but not as a livelihood. While he and his queen are living the life of luxury, America as we know it is falling apart. Romney may not be a walk in the park but I would choose him any day over what we have now.
