To Each His Own

This is going to be a political piece since my mind has been inundated with political posts from both sides the minute I woke up and got online, and yes that’s what I do first thing in the morning after the I make a trip to the bathroom. I would say “don’t judge me” but I suspect that’s what most people do as well. I have friends on both sides of the debate and I respect their opinions even if I don’t agree with them. Like a lot of people, I am a Democrat voting Republican. I am so disenchanted with Mr. President that I would be willing to vote for RuPaul if he were running. Maybe “disenchanted” is the wrong word. It implies that I was under his spell in the first place, which was never the case. I saw all the raving madness in 2008 with people crying and fainting at the sight of Obama. I never understood that. He made great speeches, so what? So did Hitler and we can see how that ended. I’m not saying Obama is Hitler. I’m saying that making good speeches doesn’t make you the Messiah. Unless I see you descending from the clouds, chances of me worshiping you are not good. Here we are 4 years later face down dead in a ditch. I read an article on Jeff Foxworthy today where he talked about hiring someone to fix a business and it’s in worse shape that it was before. You would fire them wouldn’t you? Why hire someone to run your business into the ground? Romney’s job is fixing businesses and he has been very successful. Everything he touches turns to gold. Everything Obama touches turns to sh*t. This is a no brainer, people. If you had both Romney and Obama’s resumes on your desk, who would you hire? We need someone who cares about America and is not willing to sell us out to the radicals in the middle east. King and Queen Obama just see the job as an endless source of money. Americans are struggling and all they care about are their lavish dinners, vacations, and parties. What’s worse is that they flaunt their extravagant lifestyle while most Americans are high and dry, very akin to the French Revolution when Marie Antoinette told everybody to eat to eat cake. Well, we know how badly that ended. Most Americans are fed up, and history tends to repeat itself so, honestly, I don’t know what will happen next. On a sadder note, the America I grew up in no longer exists but with 4 more years of this idiot, there won’t anything left at all, nothing left for our children. This is not about being racist, that card has been played for the past 4 years and it is threadbare. If a white president would have done the same things Obama has done or not done, for that matter, he would have been out on his ear. Everyone’s afraid of disagreeing and being called a racist. I don’t give a da*n. I calls ‘em as I sees ‘em. It’s not about denying gays their right either. No one on God’s green earth can accuse me of being homophobic in any way, shape, or form. I was born a fag hag and I will die a fag hag and that’s okay with me. What’s not okay is people solely focusing on that issue. Obama knew what he was doing when he publicly supported gay rights. Also, people want to claim they are voting Democrat because of the women’s rights issues. I am more concerned with none of us having rights. That is the way we are headed. I won’t go into detail in this post. I will save it that for another day. Let’s end this by saying that my vote won’t be decided by which candidate buys me a cell phone. If they both want to buy me one, fine, but it doesn’t buy you my vote. Simply do your job like I have to do mine every day of the week and you won’t have to worry about being re-elected. You don’t have to campaign 4 years. It’s a given :)
