I am attempting to write a blog before 8:00am, a rather bold move since I don’t like to be awake or even think at such an ungodly hour. The only reason I am up is because my son was trying to siphon money out of me before school. There’s nothing like being hit up for money first thing in the morning. When I came downstairs, my little 2 year old started asking me in her limited vocabulary to take her to the swimming pool since she saw one on TV where they had a slide. She kept repeating the word ‘swimming pool’ and seemed to think I was going to take her then and there because she was trying to drag me down the stairs and out the door. She’s gonna be disappointed if I do take her because there is no slide in our public pool. Last time I tried taking her it ended in tears and lots of them. She screamed the whole time and wouldn’t get out of my arms. She didn’t even like the kiddie pool. She did not take to it like a duck to water, unfortunately. Anyways, on to what’s going on in the world today, at least what I can see from my bed. Luckily I have a laptop and am not reduced to inventing news.
Am I the only one that is bored out of their mind with the Petraeus sex scandal? It totally lacks the trashiness of the Tiger Woods scandal where he cheated on his beautiful, classy wife with a 13 or more lowlife bottom feeders that could be had for pennies on the dollar. I think I caught a disease just thinking about it. Regarding the Petraeus affair, he supposedly cheated on his frumpy old wife, who looks like she let herself go, for someone who looks to take good care of her physical appearance not to mention she is much younger. It may be wrong but it happens all the time so why is this a thing? The affair might have happened and it might not have. This seems to be a cover for something else. It looks like Someone is cleaning house but I’m not exactly sure why so I won’t even speculate. Anyways, I could care less who that shriveled-up old man sleeps with and I really doubt anyone else does either.
After Texas tried breaking off from the rest of the country, there has been another stupid turn of events. Austin,Texas is trying to tear themselves away from the rest of Texas. It’s basically the blind leading the blind these days. Luckily, I don’t see any of it becoming reality, but I could be wrong. I didn’t think it would get this far. I could make a trip home to find I am in in the Principality of Louisiana overseen by Emperor Jindal. I don’t care as long as I can leave and won’t be subjected to his rule. A friend of mine told me that in response to Louisiana secession, New Orleans is now making a bid to break away from the rest of the state. Are there no shortage of dummies? Is there no one to stop the madness? Man, what fools these mortals be. Obama has got his hands full of of idiots. Good. That’s just a little bit of karma coming his way and that’s just for starters. You always reap what you so no matter who or what you are. On that you can rely
